DJ America has been performing at all types of events since 1980.

What type of equipment do you use?
Our DJs use only professional quality CD players, amps, speakers, lights and effects, designed exclusively to our strict specifications and standards.

Do you have any backup plans if something goes wrong?
DJ America maintains a roster of reserve DJs, equipment and vehicles should any misfortune occur.

Will the DJ play requests?
Your DJ is trained to play any special requests by your guests provided they do not conflict with your preferences and disrupt the overall flow and energy of your party.

Do you play records, tapes or CDs?
Our DJs play CDs for the finest clarity in sound. However, a tape deck can be provided should you request a song that is only available on cassette.

Can we bring our own music for the DJ to play?
Absolutely!

What are your payment terms?
We ask that you send us a small deposit (check or credit card) with your signed contract. The balance of your payment is due the day of your event.  We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express as well as personal checks.

Will the DJ play overtime if needed?
Rarely do we ever schedule two jobs back to back (or within a couple of hours of eachother). Therefore, your DJ should be available to stay longer, should you and your guests wish to continue celebrating.

When should we book a DJ?
According to industry professionals, the recommended time to book your DJ is 6 months to one year in advance. This will guarantee that you will be able to reserve our services. However, because of our size, availability sometimes permits us to accomodate bookings up until the last minute.
